Megan Spragg
Megan Spragg is a Registered Music Therapist, based in Melbourne, Australia and trained in New Zealand. She has worked within both mainstream and special education settings for over 15 years and has a passion for working with clients with physical disabilities and complex high health needs. She works with both Children and Adults and loves to use music to enable people to do things they didn't think they could. She is the director of Sounding Board Music Therapy Services, and loves to resource therapists, parents, carers and teachers in their ongoing work.

Winifred is a Registered Music Therapist (RMT) with the Australian Music Therapy Association (AMTA). She provides music therapy services to individuals and groups. Winifred specialises in working with older adults, in their homes, in day centres, residential facilities and in hospital settings. Winifred’s expertise includes all forms of cognition loss and dementia, neurological disorders, palliative care and mental health. Winifred’s instruments are piano, keyboards, ukelele, flute, guitar and, on special occasions, the piano accordion.

Rebekah joined SBMT in 2021. She works with all ages doing home visits and online sessions on Thursdays playing the piano and guitar, and singing. Rebekah believes that everyone has their own musical powers and loves to help people to use them.

Christie has been working as a music therapist for 15 years. Christie works across the lifespan specialising in children and adults with disabilities and aged care. Christie is also a vocalist and enjoys performing and helping others to find their voice. Christie specialises in facilitating telehealth sessions for both individuals and groups.

Georgia is a Registered Music Therapist and joined the Sounding Board team in 2021. A trained vocalist and guitarist, she provides music therapy services to both individuals and groups. Georgia has worked within clients' homes, residential facilities, hospitals and community settings supporting families, intellectually and physically disabled adults and children, stroke survivors, adults with lived experiences of homelessness and people with complex mental health needs. Georgia is passionate about facilitating personalized, empowering and collaborative music therapy experiences.

Yimin believes in empowering people through their own strengths and resources. She also speaks English, Mandarin, Malay, Hakka, and Cantonese.

Clara is a Registered Music Therapist (RMT) based in Brunswick, Melbourne. She has worked in a range of contexts, including individual and group work with diverse NDIS participants, acute mental health care, and residential care for people with lived experience of homelessness. Clara cherishes the connections she forms with people through music therapy, seeking respectful and meaningful collaboration with everyone she works with. She particularly enjoys seeing people's unique strengths and personalities emerge through their music. She also loves to see just about any item, sound or idea as musical material.
